충남 계룡시가 호국보훈의 달을 기념해 가곡 특별공연을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

공연은 오는 24일 오후 4시 계룡문화예술의전당 대공연장에서 ‘우리가곡 100년의 드라마 굿모닝, 가곡’ 타이틀로 공연을 개최한다.

‘우리가곡 100년의 드라마 굿모닝, 가곡’은 6월 호국보훈의 달을 맞아 국가와 지역을 위해 헌신한 유공자, 보훈단체 및 계룡시민에게 감사의 마음을 전하고자 마련됐다.

이번 공연은 1920년대 일제강점기 국권을 빼앗긴 어두운 시절, 우리 가곡의 탄생부터 일제로부터의 해방 그리고 한국전쟁에 이르기까지 격동과 변화의 근현대사 속 대한민국 역사와 정서를 담은 가곡을 한 편의 드라마와 같이 구성하여 관객들에게 선보일 계획이다.

특히 국립중앙극장 극장장과 문화관광부 장관을 역임한 김명곤 감독이 연출과 진행을 맡았으며, 합창단은 세계 유일의 클래식 교수 앙상블 단체인 이마에스트리가, 지휘는 이마에스트리 양재무 음악감독이 담당하며, 피아니스트 김효성의 피아노 연주가 곁들여져 관객들로 하여금 대한민국 가곡의 정수를 느낄 수 있는 무대를 연출할 예정이다.
