국립공주대학교(총장 임경호)가 5일 대학본부에서 주식회사 에코인에너지와 플라스틱 재활용을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협약은 국립공주대가 환경의 날을 맞이해 심각한 사회적 문제가 되고 있는 플라스틱 쓰레기를 줄이기 캠페인을 독려하고, 폐플라스틱 재활용으로 선제적 재활용 정책 개발과 추진함으로서 안전하고 깨끗한 캠퍼스 환경을 조성하고자 마련했다.

이번 협약을 통해 국립공주대는 학내에서 발생하는 폐플라스틱을 ㈜에코인에너지가 재활용할 수 있도록 무상 제공하며, (주)에코인에너지는 이를 폐플라스틱의 친환경적 처리와 효율적인 자원화에 활용하고 폐플라스틱 재활용 관련 교육 등을 국립공주대에 제공하는 것에 적극 협력하기로 했다.

협약식 행사는 김기선 사무국장, 정형기 총무과장과 ㈜에코인에너지 이인 대표이사, 오승훈 이사 등 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.

한편, ㈜에코인에너지는 폐플라스틱의 화학적 재활용 기술로 자원순환과 탄소 중립 실현을 위해 앞장서는 대표적인 스타트업 기업이다.
