대전경찰청(청장 정용근)과 TBN대전교통방송이 11일 대전경찰청에서 교통정보를 상호 신속제공하여 대전의 교통소통 증진과 교통사고 예방에 공동 협력하는 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 업무협약은 양 기관이 핫라인을 구성하여 갑자기 발생한 돌발교통정보를 상호 간 신속제공하여 운전자 또는 교통경찰에게 최종 전파하여 교통소통을 증진하고 교통사고를 예방하기 위해 체결했다.

양 기관은 이와 함께, 교통안전 의식 제고를 위한 홍보활동, 교통정책·제도 변경 시 시민참여 또는 이해 도모를 위한 지원활동에 공동협력한다고 밝혔다.

대전경찰청 정용근 청장은 “이번 업무협약을 통해 양 기관의 인적·물적 자원의 실용적 교류를 통해 대전시민의 교통안전을 한층 제고하는 시너지 효과를 창출할 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
