대전경찰청이 음주운전 뿌리 뽑기에 나섰다.

이에 따라 대전경찰청은 지난 4월 8일 대전 서구 둔산동 문정네거리에서 발생한 스쿨존 교통사고와 관련하여 추진중인 음주운전 특별단속을 지속적으로 실시할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

이번 특별단속은 야간시간대 유흥가 주변에서 주로 실시하던 단속방식에서 주·야간을 불문하고 실시한다.

단속은 스쿨존 및 유원지 등에서 대전경찰청 주관으로 주간 주 2회, 야간 주 1회 이상 교통싸이카·암행순찰팀 및 각 경찰서 교통외근 등 가용경력을 집중 운용하여 권역별 대대적인 단속을 실시하고 있다는 게 대전경찰청의 설명이다.
