대전시의회 베트남 방문단이 16일 베트남 주재 주요 통상기관을 방문해  투자확대를 모색했다.

이날 방문단은  호치민 다이아몬드플라자에 위치한 대전 통상사무소, 대한무역진흥공사(KOTRA) 호치민무역관, 한국무역협회(KITA) 지부, 중소벤처진흥공단(KOSME), 수출 인큐베이터를 차례로 찾아 베트남 한인기업 투자환경 등의 무역통상 인프라를 공유했다.

호치민 무역관 정준규 관장은 “세계적인 불황이 지속되는 상황임에도 베트남의 높은 경제성장률은 지속되고 있다”며 “한인기업 수출 마케팅을 비롯한 투자와 비즈니스 관련 기회요인과 위험요인 등의 정보를 제공하고 있다”고 말했다.

이에 대해 이상래 의장은 “자치단체별 통상사무소가 개별적으로 설치돼 있어 시너지 효과가 덜하므로 충청권을 한데로 묶어 운영하는 메가시티형 공동투자 방안도 좋겠다”며 아이디어 차원의 방향성을 제안했다.

이어 동나이성 산업단지 삼일비나를 방문해 대전 출신 김재우 회장으로부터 기업소개와 섬유 원단 제조 전 과정에 대해 현장 순회 안내를 받는 등 베트남 진출 기업의 성공 스토리를 경청하고 현장을 둘러봤다.

김 회장은  “대전 기업의 해외 진출에 대한 정보가 필요하면 언제든지 연락해 달라. 도움을 아끼지 않겠다” 고 말했다. 

이상래 의장은 “어려운 경제여건 속에서도 목표한 수출액을 무난하게 달성하는 등 큰 경영성과를 창출한데 대해 큰 박수를 보내며 응원한다” 고 화답했다.

한편 삼일비나 기업은 2021년도 매출 2억 5천만 달러를 달성하였고 현지 근로자 2,300여 명이 근무하는 베트남 섬유업계 최대 회사로 알려져 있다.
