국민의힘 대전시당(이하 대전시당)이 지난 11일 대전시당에서 생활정치특별위원회 출범식과 함께 특위위원에 선임된 위원들에게 임명장 수여식을 진행했다.

대전시당이 시민 생활과 밀접한 관련이 있는 정치를 시민의 눈높이에서 시민의 입장을 대변하기 위해 발족한 생활정치특위는 이날 임명장 수여식을 통해 보다 나은 시민의 삶을 만드는 정치를 위해 노력하기로 다짐했다.

임명장 수여 직후 이은권 대전시당위원장은 인사말을 통해 “국가의 미래를 위해 정치가 바로 서야 한다. 이를 위해서는 국민의 눈 높이에서 국민의 삶을 책임지는 정치를 해야 한다”고 강조하며, “정부에서 확정 짓고, 이전 고지까지 된 방위사업청 이전 사업 예산을 단순히 대통령 공약사업이라는 이유로 민주당은 예산을 삭감했다”고 꼬집어 말했다. 

생활정치특별위원회 진동규 위원장은 “정치가 바뀌면 시민들의 삶이 바뀐다. 이러한 정치를 바꾸기 위해 제가 가지고 있는 열정과 용기, 모험심, 아이디어를 가지고 국민의힘이 잘하고 있다는 말을 들을 수 있도록 끊임없이 노력하겠다”며 포부를 밝혔다.

이날 임명장 수여식에는 이은권 대전시당위원장을 비롯하여, 김경태 누리봉사단장, 조성호 문화예술특별위원장, 양명환 유성구의원과 진동규 생활정치특별원장 및 생활정치특별위원 등 100여 명이 참석했다.
