대전시립연정국악원이 2022년도 대전 UCLG, D-100일을 맞이하여 시민과 함께 성공개최를 기원하기 위해 한류의 원조인 대한민국 대표 문화사절단인 리틀엔젤스예술단을 초청하여 “천사들의 비상”의 주제로 공연을 7월 2일(토) 17:00 국악원 큰마당에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 공연은 60년간 노하우와 경험을 바탕으로 쌓아온 리틀엔젤스예술단의 대표 프로그램으로 구성했다.

논매기 일꾼의 흥을 돋우기 위해 추던 것이 발전한 ‘장고춤’과꼭두각시놀음을 주제로 한 ‘꼭두각시’, ‘부채춤’, 사라진 풍속을 한편의 드라마처럼 꾸민 ‘시집가는 날’, 여섯 개의 북을 사용하는 육고무 춤인‘북춤’, 새타령과 산조를 엮은 ‘가야금 병창’등 리틀엔젤스예술단의 대표 작품과 배정혜 예술감독의 신작인 신라시대 여자 화랑들의 모습을 작품화 시킨‘화검’, 한국의 설날 아침 풍습을 춤으로 표현한 ‘설날 아침’, 봉산탈춤의 스토리를 현대적으로 해석한 ‘놀이마당’,마지막으로 리틀엔젤스예술단의 특유의 개성있는 음색과 매력적인 화음이 돋보이는 ‘합창’으로 피날레를 장식한다.

리틀엔젤스예술단은 1962년 창단하여 올해로 창단 60주년을 맞이하였으며 세계 60여개국을 순방하며, 7,000여회 국내·외 공연 등 왕성한 활동을 보여주며 지속적인 전통문화 예술발전과 우리 문화의 우수성을 전 세계에 알리고 있는 국내 유일의 어린이 전문 공연 예술단체이다.

공연 입장료는 R석 30,000원, S석 20,000원, A석 10,000원이다.
