[Busking performances of various genres in 5 districts every Saturday, a total of 78 teams participate]

The Daejeon Cultural Foundation (CEO Shim Gyu-ik) announced that it will hold “2022 Exciting Daejeon” from May 21 to November. 「Exciting Daejeon」 is a busking performance event in which 78 teams selected through an open recruitment in April take turns every Saturday at the performance venues in 5 districts.

It is composed of performance teams of various genres such as music, tradition, theater, and dance, with the purpose of revitalizing street performances, which had been stagnant due to the corona virus, and providing opportunities for amateur and professional artists to perform directly. .

The event kicks off with performances by Na-rin Kim, Liberty Guitar, Band Freebird, Seodo Sound Conservation Society, and Clown Song at the National Daejeon Forest Chewon at 2 pm on Saturday, the 21st.

CEO Shim Gyu-ik said, “I hope that this exciting Daejeon busking performance will provide healing and hope to citizens and artists who are slowly recovering their daily life.”
