충남도, ‘살기 좋은 지방시대’ 추진

제20대 대통령직인수위원회 지역균형발전특별위원회 충남 지역정책과제 국민 보고회가 29일 내포신도시 충남도서관에서 열렸다.

 

이날 설명회에는 양승조 지사와 김병준 인수위 균형발전특위 위원장, 시민사회 대표와 도민 등 150여명이 참석했다.

 

설명회는 김 위원장의 충남 지역정책과제 보고와 과제별 질의응답 등의 순으로 진행됐다.

 

김 위원장은 충남 지역정책으로 7개 공약, 15대 정책과제를 발표했다.

 

15대 정책과제는 △충청내륙철도‧중부권동서횡단철도 건설 △중부 내륙 광역 입체 교통망 확충 △내포신도시 탄소중립 거점 육성 △환황해 수소에너지 메카 조성 △4차 산업혁명 대응 신산업 혁신 거점 조성 △스마트 국방 및 보안산업 클러스터 조성(육사 논산 이전) △충청권 서해 관문 국제공항 건설 등이다.

 

또 △충남혁신도시 공공기관 이전 △충청권 지방은행 설립 △서해선-경부선(KTX) 조기 연결 △중부권 거점 재난 전문 국립경찰병원 설립 △국립치의학연구원 및 미래의료 신산업 클러스터 조성 △지역 의과대 신설 및 내포권 대학병원 설치 △연안‧하구 생태복원 및 국가해양정원 조성 △글로벌 해양레저 거점 조성 및 금강‧백제문화 관광 활성화 등도 정책과제로 포함했다.

 

이 자리에서 양승조 지사는 “대한민국의 중심인 충남은 저출산, 고령화, 양극화 등 시대적 과제를 해결하며 대한민국을 선도하고 있다”라며 “이번 설명회를 통해 도민의 의지와 염원이 새 정부 국정과제에 100% 반영되길 기대하며, 충남 지역공약이 충남과 대한민국의 재도약을 힘차게 이끌게 되길 희망한다”고 말했다.

 

양 지사는 이어 “충청내륙철도에서 가로림만 생태복원까지, (새 정부 정책은) 우리 충남도정이 그동안 심혈을 기울여왔던 사업인 만큼, 공약 실현에 최선을 다하겠다”라며 “이를 토대로 새 정부와 함께 ‘살기 좋은 지방시대’를 활짝 열어 나아가겠다”고 덧붙였다.
