[Chungnam Office of Education, support of 1.14 billion won for facility environment improvement]

[The Chungnam Office of Education decided to spend 1.14 billion won to improve the classroom environment.]

The Chungnam Office of Education announced on the 27th that it would promote facility improvement projects for special classes in order to guarantee the right to study for students eligible for special education.

Classes receiving the improvement cost support this time are 12 kindergartens, 29 elementary schools, 11 middle schools, 4 high schools, and 7 special schools, for a total of 63 classes.

The provincial office of education finally decides the class to be supported through screening, and will provide about 25 million won per class for environmental improvement such as ▲floor heating work ▲installation of wall safety belts ▲support for disabled desks and chairs ▲installation of communal workbenches. About 4 million won per class is provided for educational materials and other customized teaching materials.

In addition, by forming a ‘special class environment improvement support group’ at the Office of Education Support, it provides advisory and consultation support so that an educational environment that reflects the characteristics and needs of schools and target students can be built.

In particular, they plan to provide a safe educational environment before the new school year by providing early support for this project budget.

Superintendent of Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol said, "Support should be given top priority for individualized and integrated education for students eligible for special education."
