아산시가 설 명절을 맞아 오는 10일부터 3주간 주요 도로변에 설치된 가로 보안등 시설물 일제 점검 및 정비에 나선다고 밝혔다.

이번 점검 대상은 가로등 1만9378개소, 보안등 1만5293개소, 공원등 1416개소 등 모두 3만6087개소다.

시는 3개 점검반을 구성해 지역 주요 국도, 교차로, 역전 등 다수이용자 지역의 가로 보안등에 대한 점·소등 정상 작동, 노후 상태 및 정격용량 사용, 누전차단기 작동 여부와 케이블 단선, 차단기 작동 등을 중점 점검한다.

점검을 통해 이상이 발견된 시설에 대해서는 설 연휴 전까지 일제 정비를 마칠 예정이다.

방효찬 시 도시계획과장은 "설 명절을 맞아 고향을 찾는 귀성객들의 편안하고 안전하게 고향 방문과 시민의 안전을 위해 가로 보안등 안전 점검에 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.

한편 시는 설 연휴 기간 중 비상 근무조(긴급 복구반) 편성 운영을 통해 상황접수와 처리, 응급 복구 등을 실시할 예정이며, 긴급 보수업체를 적극 활용해 시민 불편 사항을 신속히 해결할 방침이다.
