충남도, ‘미세먼지 비상대응 종합 평가’ 1위

환경부가 주관하는 ‘미세먼지 비상대응 종합 평가’에서 충남도가 전년 대비 총점을 큰 폭으로 끌어올리며 전국 1위에 선정됐다고 19일 밝혔다.

 

미세먼지 비상대응 종합 평가는 시도별 비상저감조치 시행 실적을 평가해 개선 방안을 도출하고 우수사례를 공유해 차기 고농도 기간 대응 역량을 강화하고자 추진한다.

 

이번 평가는 전국 17개 시도 중 지난해 5월부터 올해 4월까지 비상저감조치*를 실시한 12개 시도를 대상으로 진행했으며, 관계부처와 외부전문가로 구성한 평가위원회가 비상저감조치 대응 체계·과정 및 성과, 단체장 관심도 등을 평가해 점수를 산출했다.

 

평가 결과, 도는 총점 93점(1위)으로 전년 평가 83점(3위) 대비 점수가 큰 폭으로 상승해 개선 노력이 돋보인다는 평을 받았다.

 

특히 도는 이번 평가에서 △인천, 경기 등 인접 지자체와의 협력(서해안권 초광역 대기질 개선 사업) △국제 교류 협력 강화(중국 장쑤성) △자발적 협약 확대를 통한 사업장 배출 저감 △비상저감조치 이행 결과 홍보를 통한 민간부문 참여 확대 유도 △발전 3사 보유 대기측정망(38개소) 통합 정보 누리집 공개 등의 정책이 우수사례로 선정돼 좋은 평가를 받았다.
