[1.3 trillion won reflected in 16 road projects in South Chungcheong Province...]

It was found that 320 billion won was reflected in the government’s ‘5th 5-year national road/local map construction plan (2021-2025)’ for 8 projects that were not subject to the preliminary feasibility study in Chungcheongnam-do.

Including the Yeta target projects announced last month, a total of 16 cases of 1.3 trillion won will be reflected in the 5th plan, which is expected to lay another stepping stone for a leap forward in the Pan Yellow Sea.

Governor Yang Seung-jo held a press conference at the press center of the provincial government on the 29th, and 8 projects in the province included in the 5th plan confirmed and announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport recently through the Road Policy Review Committee were 8 cases 54.4 km, KRW 1.7.2 trillion won, and KRW 1.7.2 trillion in Viyetta. It was announced that 8 cases of 50.7 km were counted at 327.1 billion won.

The 16 projects reflected in the province have the second largest number in the country, along with Gyeongnam and Jeonbuk, following 24 in Gyeonggi-do.

The 5-year national road/local map construction plan is a national plan for road construction and management established every 5 years by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

Most of the non-yetta projects with a total project cost of less than KRW 50 billion are facility improvement projects such as improvement of the road alignment used by local residents and widening the road width.

The budget for the non-yetta project reflected in the province is △Gongju Sinpung-Yugou 2-lane construction 444km 40.9 billion KRW △Cheongyang Ungok-Sinpoong 2-lane improvement 2.55km 37.9 billion KRW △Nonsan Yeonmu-Yangchon 2-lane improvement 9.68km 47.8 billion KRW △Nonsan Beolgok Hansamcheon-Dosan 2-lane improvement 8.3km 40.8 billion won △Geumsan Jinsan administration-eupnae 2-lane improvement 6.3km 41.5 billion won △Yesan Godeok-Dangjin Hapdeok 4-lane extension 494km 47.2 billion won △Seocheon Hwayang-Gisan 2-lane improvement 4.72km 22.5 billion won △Namdang-Gwang-ri 2 lane improvement in western Hongseong 975km 48.5 billion won, etc.

Among them, Shinpoong-Yugu is a new project for a two-lane detour in Yugu-eup, and it is expected to improve connectivity between Gongju and Asan and to resolve traffic congestion in Yugu-eup.

Yeonmu-Yangchon is a project to improve local map No. 68 that connects Nonsan IC, Tapjeong Reservoir, and National Defense University.

Along with Yeonmu-Yangchon, Hansamcheon-Dosan, and Gojeong-Eupnae are projects to improve a part of National Road No. 68, the only road connecting Nonsan and Geumsan.

Once this project is completed, the accessibility between Nonsan and Geumsan is expected to improve.
Godeok-Hapdeok is the remaining section of the Deoksan-Godeok IC 4-lane expansion project currently under construction.

It is expected that Ungok-Shinpoong and Hwayang-Gisan will secure passability between villages, and Namdang-Gwangri will increase accessibility to Namdang Port.

Projects that are more than KRW 50 billion included in the announcement last month are △New construction of Cheonan Seonggeo-Mokcheon 4-lane 12.88km KRW 536.5 billion △Cheonan Mokcheon-Samryong 6 lane extension 4.3km 63.9 billion KRW △Cheonan Buk-myeon-Improvement of 2 lanes 2.85km KRW 53.3 billion △ Asan Eumbong-Cheonan Seonghwan 4-lane extension 933 km 88.1 billion KRW △ Asan Songak Yugok-Yeokchon 4-lane extension 398 km 61.8 billion KRW △ Seosan Dokgot-Daero 4 lane extension 4.31 km 52.2 billion KRW △ Nonsan Ganggyeong-Chaeun 4 The 2.58km lane extension is 54.4 billion won △Taean Geunheung Duya-Jeongjuk 4 lane extension 14.13km 97 billion won.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport will make the final announcement on the official gazette on the 1st of next month.
