세종시교육청, 학생 간 정보격차 해소 지원

세종시교육청이 학생 간 정보격차 해소와 교육 소외계층의 학습 환경 개선을 위하여 ‘2021학년도 교육정보화 지원 사업’을 운영한다.


교육정보화 지원 사업은 가정형편에 따른 교육정보화 격차를 해소하기 위해 저소득층 학생들에게 컴퓨터와 인터넷통신비, 유해정보차단 소프트웨어 등을 지원하는 사업이다.


세종시교육청은 지난해 165명의 저소득층 학생에게 컴퓨터를 보급하고, 월평균 527명에게 인터넷통신비 등을 지원하며 교육 소외계층의 학습 환경 개선과 정보격차 해소를 위해 노력해왔다.


올해 세종시교육청은 컴퓨터 구입비 2억 400만 원, 소프트웨어 2,244만 원, 인터넷통신비 1억 3,283만 원, 유해정보차단 소프트웨어 1,732만 원 등 약 3억 8천만 원을 편성했다.


컴퓨터는 관내 학교에 재학 중인 초1~고1 학생 중 국민기초생활수급자를 대상으로 지원하며, 컴퓨터 지원 시 학생들의 학습에 필요한 한컴오피스, MS 오피스, 마인크래프트 등 소프트웨어와 컴퓨터 유지보수도 함께 지원한다.
