[Daejeon Jung-gu, sea ice season situation management system establishment and operation]

In order to prevent safety accidents during the sea ice season, Daejeon Jung-gu will establish and operate a situation management system from the 17th to the end of March and begin safety inspections of vulnerable facilities.

In order to prepare for safety accidents caused by weakening of the ground due to the melting of the frozen surface, the safety management measures period for disaster-prone facilities such as construction sites, embankments, retaining walls, and steep slopes were set, and this measure was promoted.

First, in order to prepare for, respond to, and recover from accidents, Jung-gu establishes an emergency contact network with relevant departments and agencies, maintains a cooperative system, and conducts day and night situational work. In the event of an accident, we plan to promptly report and take emergency measures.

A manufacturing survey is conducted on facilities that are vulnerable to thawing season, such as construction sites, ridges and retaining walls, steep slopes, old houses, and other facilities, to designate facilities subject to intensive management and conduct safety checks on facilities subject to intensive management.

In addition, a safety inspection campaign will be launched in conjunction with the “Safety Inspection Day” to promote the prevention of safety accidents during the ice-breaking season.
