제7대 충남도립대학교 총장에 충남도 김용찬 행정부지사가 내정됐다고 충남도가 8일 밝혔다.

김 내정자는 지난달 도립대 총장임용추천위원회 서면 및 발표평가 등을 거쳐 임용 후보자 3명 중 1명으로 추천됐다.

이후 지난 5일 도 지방교육공무원 인사위원회 자문을 거쳐 양승조 충남지사의 최종 선임 결정을 받았다.

도는 김 내정자가 도립대의 위상 및 장‧단점, 도민이 바라는 인재상에 대한 종합적인 이해를 바탕으로 효과적인 대학 발전방안을 제시한 점을 높게 평가했다.
