충남 4대 행정기관이 자치경찰제의 성공 정착을 위해 한자리에 모였다.

 

충남도의회는 21일 국제회견장에서 충남도와 충남교육청, 충남경찰청과 간담회를 갖고 현안사항을 논의했다고 밝혔다.

 

그동안 도의회는 개회 전 충남도·도교육청과 간담회를 개최해 왔으나 경찰청까지 참여한 것은 이번이 처음이다.

 

도의회에선 김명선 의장과 전익현·조길연 1·2부의장 등 의장단과 상임위원장, 예결위원장, 교섭단체 대표가 참석했다.

 

참석자들은 이 자리에서 자치경찰제 시행에 따른 준비상황을 공유하고 자치경찰 운영 관련 조례 제·개정, 자치경찰위원회 구성 등 협조사항을 논의했다.

 

김명선 의장은 “충남의 4대 기관장이 처음으로 도의회에서 만나는 것에 대해 매우 뜻깊게 생각한다”며 “오늘 간담회를 통해 자치경찰제가 성공적으로 자리잡는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
