충남 태안군이 교통사고 예방 및 교통 환경 개선에 나섰다.

태안군은 교통사고 예방을 위해 ‘교차로 개선사업’ 추진에 적극 나선다는 계획이다.

 
이를 위해 태안군은 4일 군청에서 브리핑을 갖고 군민의 교통 안전과 편의 증진을 위해 ‘회전교차로 설치사업’과 ‘불합리 교차로 체계 개선사업’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

 
태안군은 ‘2020년 지역 교통안전환경 개선사업’으로 확보한 국비 2억 8천만 원을 포함,총 사업비 12억여 원을 들여 올해 4월부터 ‘군청오거리(대로2-1호’)와 ‘체육관사거리(중로1-6호)’에 회전교차로를 설치하고 있다.
