충남도가 정보통신기술을 활용한 상수도 관리에 착수한다고 밝혔다.

 

충남도는 안전한 수돗물 공급체계 및 수도사업 선순환 체계 구축을 위해 케이-워터(K-water), 도내 15개 시·군과 협약을 맺고, 정보통신기술(ICT)을 활용한 상수도 관리 시스템을 설치한다.

 

27일 도청 영상회의실에 양승조 지사와 박재현 케이-워터 사장, 도내 15개 시·군 시장·군수 등 20여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘스마트지방상수도 그린뉴딜사업 협약’을 체결했다.


이번 협약식은 스마트지방상수도 그린뉴딜사업은 지역주민에게 깨끗하고, 안전한 수돗물을 안정적으로 공급하기 위한 사업으로 노후 상수관로 정밀조사 ,관 세척 ,유량·수압 감시시스템 설치 ,스마트 미터 ,R/F 관로인식체계 구축 등을 추진한다.
 
이번 협약을 통해 오는 2022년까지 15개 시·군에 사업비 약 1000억 원을 투입할 계획이며, 성공적인 사업 추진을 위해 국고 보조금 확보와 행·재정적 지원, 협의 조정 등을 총괄한다.

 

케이-워터는 스마트지방상수도 그린뉴딜사업을 직접 수행하고, 도내 지방상수도의 효율적인 유지관리체계 구축, 누수방지 등 경영 개선을 위한 기술 검토 등에 관해 협력한다.

 

아울러 각 기관은 사업의 원활한 추진을 위해 실무위원회를 구성, 시·군의 의견을 수렴하고 시스템 구축을 위한 효율적인 방안을 마련할 방침이다.

 

또 이번 사업으로 현재 15.3%인 누수율을 낮춰 지방재정의 낭비를 막고, 상수도 공급을 확대해 도민 물 복지를 실현할 계획이다.
