충남도의회(이하 도의회)가 예산정책자문회의를 개최하고 도정살림에 대해 논의했다.

도의회은 26일 의회에서 2021년도 충남도와 충남도교육청의 예산안 편성 방향을 논의하기 위한 예산정책자문위원회 회의를 열었다.

이날 회의에서는 코로나19 사태로 재정여건이 좋지 않은 만큼 한정된 재원을 효율적으로 사용할 수 있도록 사업의 우선순위를 정하고, 신규사업 대신 계속사업을 완료하는 데 중점을 둬야 한다고 조언했다.

혁신도시 지정에 발맞춰 이전 공공기관 유치를 위한 재정지원에 만전을 기해줄 것을 당부하는 한편 내년 3월 예정된 ‘제1회 도민과 함께하는 도정살림 대토론회’의 성공 개최 방안을 논의했다

이날 김명선 의장을 비롯한 예산정책자문위원들은 도와 도교육청 예산과장으로부터 내년 예산안 편성 관련사항을 청취하고 집행부 예산 증가에 따른 세수확대 방안 마련을 요구했다.

한편 올 2월 출범한 예산정책자문위는 예·결산과 주요 사업 분석 자문기구로, 2019회계연도 결산분석보고서 검토, 의견 제안을 통해 집행부의 재정 건전화에 기여하고 있다는 평가를 받고 있다.
