세종특별자치시가 시민 이용이 잦은 주요 생활밀착형 시설물 245곳에 사물주소판 설치를 완료했다고 4일 밝혔다.

사물주소는 다중이용시설물에 도로명과 기초번호를 활용해 정확한 위치를 부여하는 주소정보 체계다. 건물이 없는 장소에서도 정확한 지점 정보를 제공해 각종 긴급상황 발생 시 신속하고 정확한 위치 전달 및 구조 활동을 돕는 역할을 한다.

시는 올해 시민들의 방문 빈도가 높은 무더위쉼터 153곳과 자전거거치대 92곳을 대상지로 선정해 사물주소판을 집중적으로 구축했다.

특히 이번에 설치된 사물주소판에는 QR코드가 함께 부착됐다. 위급 상황 발생 시 시민들이 QR코드를 활용해 곧바로 긴급신고를 진행할 수 있어, 위치 파악이 어려운 야외 시설물에서도 신속한 초기 대처가 가능해질 것으로 기대된다.

세종시 관계자는 시민 생활과 밀착된 시설물에 주소정보 체계를 지속해서 확대 보구해 시민 안전과 편의성을 높여 나갈 계획이다.
