The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education held a large-scale admissions briefing for teachers and parents to assist 3rd-year middle school students in advancing to high schools that align with their career paths and aptitudes. The Office of Education announced that it held the "2027 Academic Year High School Admissions Briefing" over two days, on the 3rd and 4th, at the main auditorium of the Daejeon Institute of Educational Science.

This briefing was organized to enhance teachers' and parents' understanding of high school admissions procedures and to provide admission information optimized for each individual student. The briefing for teachers held on the 3rd was attended by 270 people, including vice principals, 3rd-year department heads, and teachers in charge of high school admissions from middle schools within the district. Subsequently, on the 4th, 270 parents of 3rd-year middle school students visited the auditorium to formulate strategies for their children's high school admissions. The information session opened with a special lecture introducing the high school curriculum. The Office of Education provided detailed information on the basic plan for high school admissions for the 2027 academic year, implementation plans for the Social Integration Admission System, and admission guidelines for general high schools, autonomous public high schools, specialized high schools, and Meister high schools.
