충남 부여군과 백제문화재단이 오는 10월 3일부터 11일까지 부여 시가지 일원에서 열리는 ‘제72회 백제문화제’에서 디지털 기술과 역사를 접목한 이색 메타버스 콘텐츠를 선보인다.

부여군은 세계적인 게임 플랫폼 로블록스(Roblox)를 활용한 체험형 콘텐츠 ‘백제 수호대 : 마지막 수호자의 길’을 전격 개시한다고 밝혔다. 이번 콘텐츠는 이용자가 백제의 수호대가 되어 가상공간을 탐험하고 다채로운 미션을 해결하며 백제의 역사와 문화를 재미있게 체득할 수 있도록 구현했다. 단순한 정보 전달을 벗어나 게임형 서사를 도입해 미래세대의 흥미를 끌어올렸다.
