지난달 대전 지역 상장사들의 전체 시가총액이 소폭 조정을 받은 가운데, 유망 기술기업들의 자본시장 진입 행보는 꾸준히 이어지고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

대전테크노파크(이하 대전TP)는 올해 5월 말 기준 대전 지역 내 64개 상장기업의 총 시가총액이 74조 7,312억 원으로 집계됐다고 9일 밝혔다. 이는 지난 4월 말 기록한 76조 7,575억 원과 비교해 약 2.6%(2조 263억 원) 감소한 수치다.

기업별로 살펴보면 주가 희비가 엇갈렸다. 한온시스템이 한 달 사이 시가총액을 1조 4,367억 원 불리며 가장 가파른 상승세를 보였고, 팹트론(9,443억 원 증가)과 한올바이오파마(7,888억 원 증가) 등 주요 바이오·기술기업들이 선전하며 뒤를 받쳤다. 다만 일부 대형 상장사들의 주가가 조정을 받으면서 지역 전체 시총 규모는 다소 줄어들었다.

대전TP는 이 같은 단기적인 시장 흔들림 속에서도 지역 내 우수 기술기업들의 코스닥 상장 도전은 활발히 진행 중이라고 강조했다.

대표적으로 위성통신 안테나 전문기업인 ㈜케이앤에스아이앤씨(대표 진병욱)가 지난 5월 7일 코스닥 상장 예비심사를 통과하며 증시 입성에 청신호를 켰다. 

지난 2001년 문을 연 이 기업은 군용 및 해상용 위성통신 안테나(VSAT) 분야에서 두각을 나타내왔으며, 해군의 차세대 해상작전위성통신체계 사업 참여를 비롯해 잠수함용 위성통신 안테나를 국산화하는 등 독보적인 기술력을 인정받고 있다.

현재 대전TP는 이처럼 성장 잠재력이 높은 지역 유망기업들이 자본시장에 성공적으로 진입할 수 있도록 IPO(기업공개) 컨설팅과 투자 유치 연계 등 다각적인 맞춤형 지원 프로그램을 가동하고 있다.

김우연 대전TP 원장은 “글로벌 경제의 불확실성이 커진 상황에서도 대전의 기업들은 독보적인 기술 경쟁력을 앞세워 상장 준비에 박차를 가하고 있다”라며 “앞으로도 대전시와 긴밀히 협력하여 상장 가능성이 높은 기업들을 선제적으로 발굴·육성하고, 이들이 제도권 자본시장에 안정적으로 뿌리내릴 수 있도록 전방위적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 덧붙였다.
