제9회 전국동시지방선거 본투표를 단 하루 앞둔 2일, 국민의힘 기호 2번 백성현 논산시장 후보가 관내 교통 요충지인 백제병원 사거리에서 지지층을 총결집하는 마지막 집중유세를 감행하며 필승을 향한 마지막 출사표를 던졌다.
