더불어민주당 오인환 논산시장 후보가 지역 장애인 단체를 찾아 현장 소통을 기반으로 한 소외 없는 복지 정책 추진을 약속했다.

오 후보는 18일 오전 한국지체장애인협회 논산시지회를 방문해 복지 현장의 고충을 직접 듣고, 자장면 나눔 배식 봉사를 함께하며 온정을 나눴다. 이날 간담회에는 오 후보와 손병복 논산시지회장을 비롯한 단체 관계자들이 자리를 함께해 장애인 복지 현안의 실질적인 해결 방안을 논의했다.

간담회에서 오 후보는 복지를 단순한 시혜적 차원이 아닌 시민의 당연한 권리로 규정하며, 행정의 최우선 기준은 언제나 시민의 실질적인 삶이어야 한다고 짚었다. 특히 사회적 약자가 일상에서 변화를 체감할 수 있어야 진정한 복지 행정이라고 강조했다.

오 후보는 자신이 구상하는 ‘논산형 기본사회’의 출발점이 누구도 소외받지 않는 공동체를 만드는 데 있다고 설명하며, 이동권 보장, 공공 돌봄, 맞춤형 일자리 확대를 골자로 한 종합 대책을 내놓았다.
