세종특별자치시가 중앙부처 평가에서 적극행정과 투자유치 성과를 잇달아 인정받으면서, 최민호 시장이 직원들에게 감사의 뜻을 전하고 시정 동력을 더욱 끌어올리겠다는 의지를 밝혔다.

최민호 시장은 2일 시청 집현실에서 열린 간부회의에서 최근 시가 거둔 적극행정과 투자유치 성과를 소개하며 공직자들에게 감사 인사를 전했다. 

최 시장은 세종시의 적극행정 사례가 규제혁신 측면에서 우수한 평가를 받은 데 이어, 투자유치 부문에서도 전국 시(市) 단위 지자체 가운데 최상위 평가를 받았다고 설명했다.

앞서 행정안전부는 지난달 25일 지방규제혁신 우수사례 경진대회에서 농공단지 입주 규제를 개선한 세종시의 적극행정을 우수사례로 선정해 장관상을 수여했다. 

산업통상자원부도 지방투자 아카데미 자리에서 세종시를 충남도·전북도와 함께 2025년 투자유치 우수지자체로 발표하며, 세종시의 기업유치와 규제완화 노력을 공식적으로 인정했다.

최민호 시장은 “직원들이 현장에서 고민하고 애쓴 결과가 대외적인 성과로 이어졌다”며, 이러한 성과를 조직 내부는 물론 시민들에게도 널리 알려 공직자들의 자부심과 동기부여를 높일 필요가 있다고 말했다. 

이어 적극행정과 투자유치가 시민 삶의 질 향상과 지역 경쟁력 강화로 이어지도록 실질적인 성과 창출을 계속해 달라고 주문했다.

이날 회의에서 최 시장은 세종시문화관광재단이 제작한 ‘세종맛집’ 책자의 적극적인 활용도 강조했다. 이 책자는 시간·점심·풍경 등 세 가지 주제로 세종만의 개성을 살린 맛집 45곳을 소개한 안내 자료로, 시민과 방문객이 쉽게 접할 수 있도록 관내 주요 거점에 비치할 것을 지시했다.

최 시장은 세종맛집 책자가 세종을 찾는 관광객은 물론, 2027년 충청권 하계유니버시아드 대회 기간에도 유용한 홍보 도구가 될 것이라고 전망했다. 

이에 따라 정부세종청사와 지역 호텔, 읍·면·동 행정복지센터 등에 충분한 물량을 비치하고, 현장에서 적극적인 홍보를 펼쳐 지역상권 활성화로 이어지도록 해 달라고 요청했다.

최민호 시장은 “12월은 한 해를 정리하고 내년도 계획을 깊이 있게 고민해야 하는 시기”라고 강조하며, 내년도 예산 편성과 주요 사업 계획 수립에 최선을 다해 줄 것을 간부 공무원들에게 당부했다.

As Sejong Special Self-Governing City continues to receive recognition for its proactive administration and investment attraction efforts in central government evaluations, Mayor Choi Min-ho expressed his gratitude to his staff and expressed his commitment to further boosting the city's governance.

During the meeting, Mayor Choi also emphasized the active use of the "Sejong Restaurants" booklet produced by the Sejong City Culture and Tourism Foundation. This guidebook introduces 45 unique restaurants, each with its own distinct character, under three themes: time, lunch, and scenery. He instructed that it be placed in key locations throughout the city for easy access by citizens and visitors.

Mayor Choi predicted that the Sejong Restaurant Guidebook would be a useful promotional tool not only for tourists visiting Sejong but also during the 2027 Chungcheong Summer Universiade.

Accordingly, he requested that sufficient copies be stocked at the Sejong Government Complex, local hotels, and town, township, and district administrative welfare centers, and that active on-site promotion be conducted to revitalize local businesses.
