대전 나노반도체 국가산업단지 조성 사업이 난관을 겪는 가운데, 국회와 산업계가 머리를 맞댄다. 

장철민 국회의원(더불어민주당, 대전 동구)은 14일 오전 10시 LH대전충남지역본부 2층 회의실에서 ‘대전 나노반도체산단, 어떻게 만들어낼 것인가’를 주제로 정책토론회를 개최한다.

이번 토론회는 SK하이닉스의 정상록 부사장을 비롯해 산업통상자원부와 국토교통부 관계자, 학계 전문가 등 각계 주요 인사가 참여해 실질적인 추진 방안을 논의할 예정이다.

발제는 LH대전충남지역본부의 ‘나노반도체산단 경과와 사업성’에 이어, 경남대 양승훈 교수가 ‘지역 단위 산업 부흥 정책과 국가산단의 역할’을 주제로 진행한다. 이후 박기택 물산업연구조합 이사장, 정상록 SK하이닉스 부사장, 이규봉 산업통상자원부 반도체과 과장, 박정곤 국토교통부 산업입지정책과 팀장 등이 참여하는 토론이 이어진다.

특히 이번 토론회는 산업부와 국토부 장관의 영상축사와 함께 열려 정부 차원의 지원 의지를 확인하는 자리가 될 전망이다. 대전시와 정부 간 협의 지연으로 추진 속도가 다소 늦어진 대전 나노반도체산단 사업이 본격적인 정상궤도에 오를 수 있을지 주목된다.

장철민 의원은 “국가산단 사업의 성공 여부는 지방정부 의지와 중앙정부, 산업계의 협력이 함께할 때 결정된다”며 “이번 토론회를 계기로 나노반도체산단이 대전 미래산업의 중심축으로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 실질적 해법을 이끌어내겠다”고 밝혔다.
