대전시교육청이 관내 중학교에 ‘중3을 위한 수학 걸림돌 넘기 학습자료집’을 배포했다고 1일 밝혔다. 

이번 자료집은 대전 지역 수학교사들이 4월부터 8월까지 직접 개발한 문항을 중심으로 제작되었으며, 중3 학생들의 핵심 개념 이해와 문제해결력 향상을 통한 학습 격차 해소를 목표로 제작됐다는게 교육청 관계자의 설명이다.

자료집에는 교육과정을 반영해 단계별로 도전할 수 있는 문제들이 수록됐다. 

이에 따라 학생들은 자기 주도적으로 기초를 다지며 실력을 키울 수 있고, 수업이나 방과후 학습에서도 자료집을 활용해 작은 성공을 경험함으로써 자신감과 성취감을 쌓을 수 있도록 설계됐다.

대전시교육청 관계자는 “학습자료집이 학생들이 완벽함에 집착하기보다 꾸준히 학습하는 과정을 통해 수학의 즐거움을 느끼고 자신감을 얻는 데 도움이 되길 바란다”고 당부했다.

Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education Distributes "Math Learning Resources" to Enhance Understanding of Core Concepts and Problem-Solving Skills

The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 1st that it has distributed the "Math Overcoming Obstacles for Third-Year Middle School Students" to middle schools in the jurisdiction.

This resource was created based on questions developed by Daejeon-area math teachers from April to August. According to an office official, the goal is to bridge the learning gap by enhancing third-year middle school students' understanding of core concepts and problem-solving skills.

The resource includes challenging problems that reflect the curriculum and can be applied at each level.

This approach allows students to independently build a foundation and improve their skills. Students can also utilize the resource in class and after-school activities to experience small successes, building confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

A Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education official stated, "We hope this resource will help students experience the joy of math and build confidence through consistent learning, rather than focusing on perfection."
