충남 논산시(시장 백성현)가 육군훈련소 인근 외식업소를 대상으로 주방 정비 및 위생 환경 개선에 나선다. 

시는 ‘안심 맛집 거리 조성사업’의 일환으로 ‘주방 정리·청소 컨설팅’을 본격 추진하며, 전국에서 몰려드는 훈련병 가족과 관광객에게 더욱 청결하고 안전한 외식 환경을 제공하겠다는 방침이다.

이번 사업은 논산을 찾는 방문객의 만족도를 높이고, 국방 도시로서 논산의 신뢰도와 호감도를 함께 끌어올리는 것을 목표로 한다. 특히 훈련병 가족들의 첫 인상이 지역 상권에 대한 전반적 이미지를 좌우하는 만큼, 시는 음식점의 주방 환경을 체계적으로 점검하고 관리하는 데 역량을 집중하고 있다.
