충남교육청(교육감 김지철)은 도내 학교 보건교사들의 응급처치 전문 역량 강화를 위해 7월 12일 국립공주대학교에서 첫 교육을 시작으로 8월까지 총 204명을 대상으로 심폐소생술 연수를 실시하고 있다고 31일 밝혔다.

이번 연수는 순천향대학교 의과대학 향설의학시뮬레이션 천안센터, 선문대학교 응급의료교육센터, 국립공주대학교 등 지역 내 응급의료 및 교육 전문기관과의 협업으로 진행되며, 교육비 전액은 충남교육청이 지원한다.

프로그램은 대한심폐소생협회 인증 기본 심폐소생술(BLS)과 한국형 기본 심폐소생술(KBLS) 과정을 포함해 실제 상황을 반영한 가슴압박과 자동심장충격기(AED) 사용법, 응급상황별 시나리오 실습 등 반복 훈련 중심으로 구성됐다. 

이를 통해 보건교사들이 신속하고 정확한 현장 대응력을 갖추도록 돕는다.

Chungnam Office of Education Provides CPR Training for School Nurses in the Province

The Chungnam Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol) announced on the 31st that it is conducting CPR training for a total of 204 school nurses in the province, starting with the first session at Kongju National University on July 12th and continuing through August. This training program aims to strengthen the specialized first aid capabilities of school nurses in the province.

This training program is being conducted in collaboration with local emergency medical and education institutions, including the Hyangseol Medical Simulation Center of Soonchunhyang University College of Medicine, the Sunmoon University Emergency Medical Education Center, and Kongju National University. The training is fully funded by the Chungnam Office of Education.

The program consists of repetitive training, including the Korean Association of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (KARS)-certified Basic CPR (BLS) and Korean Basic CPR (KBLS) courses, including real-life chest compressions, AED use, and emergency scenario practice.

This helps health teachers develop the ability to respond quickly and accurately in the field.
