충남 태안군의회가 7월 29일 제313회 임시회 제6차 본회의를 끝으로 9일간 진행된 임시회 일정을 성공적으로 마무리했다.

이번 임시회에서는 2025년도 집행부 주요 업무 추진 상황을 청취하며 군정 전반에 대한 면밀한 점검이 이루어졌고, 민생과 직결된 다양한 조례안 심사에 집중했다. 

특히 7월 22일부터 25일까지 진행된 보고 청취를 통해 군정 추진 실태 및 군민 요구 반영 여부를 꼼꼼히 살펴 행정의 투명성과 적정성 확보에 주력했다.

조례심사특별위원회(위원장 김진권 의원)는 임시회 기간 중 총 8건의 조례안을 심사해 6건은 원안 가결, 1건은 수정 가결 처리했다. 주민 수용성을 고려해 1건에 대해서는 본회의 부의 없이 보류하는 결정을 내렸다.

이번 회기에서 통과된 주요 조례안으로는 청소년의 건강한 성장 지원을 위한 중독 예방 정책 기반 마련(김기두 의원) ,방치된 농업기계의 안전한 처리 근거 신설(김영인 의원) ,군민 감염병 예방을 위한 예방접종 지원 체계 구축(박용성 부의장) ,의회의 법률 자문 기능 강화(박선의 의원) 등이 포함되며, 주민 복지 향상과 안전 강화에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

전재옥 의장은 폐회사에서 “이번 임시회가 민생 현안에 대한 심도 있는 논의와 행정의 공정성 점검의 기회가 되었다”며, “폭염으로 어려움을 겪는 사회적 약자와 농축산 피해, 반복되는 고수온 피해에 대해 집행부의 선제적이며 현장 중심 대응을 당부한다”고 강조했다.

또한, 최근 신진도항 선박화재로 피해를 입은 어업인들에게 위로의 뜻을 전하며 “조속한 현장 복구와 피해민 지원을 위한 실질적 조치를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
