대전도시공사는 대전오월드가 무더운 여름을 시원하게 날릴 여름 물놀이장을 7월 26일 공식 오픈하고 8월 24일까지 한정 운영에 들어갔다고 밝혔다.

물놀이장은 매일 오전 10시부터 오후 5시까지 운영되며, 쾌적하고 안전한 환경 유지를 위해 매시간 정각부터 50분간 시설을 이용할 수 있고, 이후 10분 동안 정비 및 소독 시간을 갖는다.

다양한 수상 놀이시설이 마련되어 있어 온 가족이 즐기기 적합하다. 수영장과 워터슬라이드, 물미끄럼틀 등이 대표적으로 설치돼 방문객들에게 큰 인기를 끌고 있다. 더불어 샤워장, 탈의실, 식음료 매장 등 편의시설도 함께 운영된다.
