대전시는 오는 8월 9일부터 16일까지 열리는 ‘2025 대전 0시 축제’ 기간 동안 도심 교통 혼잡을 줄이고 시민 불편을 최소화하기 위해 시내버스 29개 노선을 임시 우회 운행한다고 밝혔다. 

이 기간 대전역에서 옛 충남도청 구간의 중앙로와 대종로 일부 구간은 차량 통행이 전면 통제된다.

우회 운행은 8월 6일 첫차부터 17일 막차까지 적용되며, 급행 1·2·4번과 일반 101·103번 등 총 365대의 버스가 대흥로, 우암로를 경유해 운행할 예정이다. 

대전시는 각 우회 노선별로 임시 정류장을 설치하고, 버스정보안내단말기(BIT)를 통해 실시간 도착 정보를 제공하여 시민들의 불편을 덜 계획이다.

특히 교통약자인 노인과 장애인을 위한 배려도 강화된다. 임시 정류장에는 자원봉사자가 배치되며, 순환버스 운영을 통해 환승 편의를 지원한다. 또 우회 운행 버스 내부에서는 임시 정류장 안내 방송을 실시해 이용객 혼란을 최소화할 방침이다.

대전시 교통국장 남시덕 국장은 “축제 기간 중 교통 통제 구간을 이용하는 시민께서는 우회 노선을 사전에 확인하고 행사장 방문 시 대중교통 이용을 권장한다”며 “이번 조치는 축제 원활한 진행과 시민 안전을 위한 필수 조치이니 시민 여러분의 적극적인 협조를 부탁드린다”고 전했다.
