충남 아산시가 밤새 이어진 폭우에 총력을 다해 대응에 나섰다. 17일 새벽, 시간당 강한 빗줄기가 쏟아지면서 비상 2단계가 즉각 발령되고, 오세현 시장이 긴급회의를 주재하며 재난 대응 태세를 신속히 강화했다.

새벽 0시 30분부터 호우경보가 내려진 아산 지역은 오전 8시 기준 평균 315mm, 신창면은 363mm에 이르는 극심한 강수량을 기록했다. 

주택과 도로 곳곳에서 침수와 산사태 등의 피해 신고가 잇따랐고, 둔포천 등 주요 하천 주변에서는 범람 우려가 고조됐다. 아산시는 권곡과 염성 펌프장의 배수능력이 한계를 넘어서 침수 피해까지 발생했다고 전했다.

특히, 송악·문방·신휴 등 저수지는 이미 만수위에 도달해, 시가 주민들에게 2차 대피 문자를 발송하고 방류 시점을 조율하는 등 상황 관리에 촉각을 곤두세우고 있다. 시는 위험지역 둔치주차장 3곳, 지하차도 5곳 등 총 11곳의 통행을 선제적으로 차단했으며, 전체 225개 취약시설에 대한 예찰활동도 강화했다.
