대전시가 이차전지 산업 생태계 조성과 지역기업 협업 강화를 위한 ‘제4회 이차전지산업 기술교류 네트워킹 데이’를 7월 15일 성황리에 마쳤다. 

이번 행사는 신세계 엑스포타워에서 개최돼 대전 소재 유망 이차전지 기업과 전문가 50여 명이 참석, 현장 네트워킹은 물론 산업 현안과 미래 기술 전망에 대한 진지한 논의가 이뤄졌다.

이날은 한국전자기술연구원 차세대전지연구센터장 송준호 박사가 ‘글로벌 배터리 시장동향과 기술 전망’을 강연하며 최신 트렌드와 기술 발전 방향을 제시, 큰 호응을 받았다. 이어 지역 기업들의 비즈니스 모델과 보유 기술이 공개되는 자리도 마련돼, 실질적 협업 논의와 신사업 아이디어가 오갔다.

특히 대전시는 이차전지산업 생태계 조성 사업을 본격화하며, LG에너지솔루션·SK온 등 대기업과의 연계, 기업 지원, 전문인력 양성 등 산업 기반 확대에 속도를 내고 있다. 올해 초 발표된 ‘첨단이차전지산업 육성 전략’의 세부 계획 역시 이번 행사에서 지역 기업들과 공유됐다. 

이 전략은 대전만의 특화된 R&D 역량, 제조·검사 인프라와 연계한 신시장 창출 및 맞춤형 기술 개발, 글로벌 협력 네트워크 확대, 그리고 전문기업 육성을 아우른다.

한편, 기술 발표를 맡은 나노팀㈜은 방열소재 분야의 강소기업으로, 전기차용 이차전지 시장에서 독자 기술로 글로벌 경쟁력을 확보해 나가고 있다.

대전시 관계자는 “산·학·연 협력과 혁신기술 상용화, 그리고 글로벌 첨단소재 기업 육성을 통해 대전형 이차전지 산업 생태계를 구축해가겠다”며, 2030년까지 880억 원을 투입해 선도기업 18개사 상장, 2조 3586억원의 매출, 6191명의 고용, 1390명의 전문 인력 양성을 목표하고 있음을 강조했다.

이 행사는 대전이 첨단 이차전지 산업 허브로 도약하기 위한 산학연 협력의 장으로, 지역의 혁신기업 발굴과 신기술 교류의 중요한 거점 역할을 하고 있다는 평가다.

A Daejeon city official emphasized that “we will build a Daejeon-type secondary battery industry ecosystem through industry-academia-research cooperation, commercialization of innovative technologies, and fostering global advanced material companies,” and emphasized that the goal is to invest 88 billion won by 2030 to list 18 leading companies, generate 2.3586 trillion won in sales, employ 6,191 people, and foster 1,390 specialized personnel.
