대전시가 대덕연구개발특구에서 개발된 신기술의 실증과 민간 투자 연계를 통한 기술사업화 지원에 본격적으로 나섰다. 

이를 이해 대전시는 10일, 대전 1호 액셀러레이터인 ㈜로우파트너스 대회의실에서 ‘2025년 정출연 융복합 신기술-기업 연계 실증지원 사업’의 본격 추진을 위한 간담회를 개최했다.

이 사업은 정부출연연구기관(정출연)에서 개발한 우수 기술을 민간 기업에 이전하고, 산업 현장에서 실증한 뒤 투자 유치까지 전 과정을 지원하는 것이 핵심이다. 

대전시는 2022년부터 ‘실증하기 좋은 도시, 대전’을 목표로 이 사업을 주도해왔으며, 올해부터는 민간 중심의 실증 및 투자유치 체계를 강화하기 위해 공공기술 사업화 경험이 풍부한 ㈜로우파트너스를 민간 운영사로 선정해 민관 협력 구조를 새롭게 구축했다.

이번 간담회에는 실증사업화 경진대회를 통해 선정된 ㈜한국나노오트(참여기관: 한국기초과학지원연구원)와 ㈜씨앤테크(참여기관: KAIST)를 비롯해 민간 운영사, 연구기관 등 관계자 20여 명이 참석했다. ㈜한국나노오트는 감염병 검출 플랫폼 구축을 위한 금 나노입자 합성 기술 실증을, ㈜씨앤테크는 유성구 내 침수 위험지역에서 IoT 기반 맨홀 수위 관제 시스템 실증을 각각 추진한다.

선정된 기업들은 최대 3억 원 규모의 실증사업비와 현장 실증 지원, 실증 확인서 및 성능확인서 발급, 민간투자 연계와 역량 강화 프로그램 등 실증부터 사업화까지 전주기 지원을 받게 된다. 

대전시는 이번 사업을 통해 대덕특구의 우수 기술이 실제 산업 현장에 안착하고, 민간 투자를 이끌어내는 혁신 생태계를 더욱 강화할 방침이다.

Daejeon City, Support for Commercialization of New Technologies in Daedeok Research and Development Special Zone

Daejeon City has begun to fully support the commercialization of new technologies developed in Daedeok Research and Development Special Zone through verification and private investment linkage.

Understanding this, Daejeon City held a meeting on the 10th in the conference room of Low Partners Co., Ltd., Daejeon’s first accelerator, to fully promote the ‘2025 Government-funded Research Institute Convergence New Technology-Corporate Linkage Verification Support Project’.

The core of this project is to transfer excellent technologies developed by government-funded research institutes (GRIs) to private companies, verify them in industrial sites, and support the entire process from attracting investment.

Daejeon City has been leading this project since 2022 with the goal of making ‘Daejeon a good city for verification’, and from this year, in order to strengthen the private-centered verification and investment attraction system, it has selected Low Partners Co., Ltd., which has extensive experience in commercializing public technologies, as the private operator and newly established a public-private cooperation structure.

This meeting was attended by about 20 people including Korea Nano Ott (Participating organization: Korea Basic Science Institute) and C&Tech (Participating organization: KAIST), which were selected through the verification and commercialization competition, as well as private operators and research institutes. Korea Nano Ott will be conducting verification of gold nanoparticle synthesis technology for the construction of an infectious disease detection platform, and C&Tech will be conducting verification of an IoT-based manhole water level control system in a flood-prone area in Yuseong-gu.

The selected companies will receive verification project expenses of up to 300 million won, on-site verification support, issuance of verification certificates and performance certificates, and support for the entire cycle from verification to commercialization, including private investment linkage and capacity building programs.

Through this project, Daejeon City plans to further strengthen the innovation ecosystem that allows Daedeok Special Zone’s excellent technologies to settle in actual industrial sites and attract private investment.
