충남 홍성군이 정부의 경기부양 기조에 발맞춰 ‘민생회복 소비쿠폰’ 지급을 앞두고 본격적인 행정 준비에 돌입했다. 

군은 부군수를 단장으로 하는 태스크포스(TF) 팀을 구성하고, 사업 시작 전부터 군민 불편 최소화를 위한 체계적 대응에 나섰다.

이번 소비쿠폰은 군민 생활 안정과 침체된 지역경제 회복을 지원하는 목적에서 마련된 것으로, 소득 수준과 거주지에 따라 최대 53만 원까지 지원받을 수 있다. 

특히 홍성군은 비수도권 지역에 해당되어 '일반 군민 18만 원', '차상위계층 및 한부모 가족 33만 원', '기초생활수급자 43만 원' 등으로 상향 지급된다. 이어 오는 9월 22일부터는 소득 상위 10%를 제외한 전 군민에게 2차로 10만 원이 추가 지원될 예정이다.

신청 기간은 7월 21일부터 9월 12일까지이며, 신용·체크카드, 선불카드, 지역사랑상품권 가운데 원하는 방식으로 소비쿠폰을 받을 수 있다. 신청은 각 카드사 홈페이지, 지역화폐 앱을 통한 온라인 방식과 은행 영업점, 읍·면 행정복지센터 등 오프라인 방식 모두 가능하다. 미성년자의 경우 세대주가 대리 신청할 수 있고 지급받은 금액은 오는 11월 30일까지 사용해야 하며, 이후 미사용 금액은 자동 소멸된다.

홍성군은 TF팀을 중심으로 신청 절차와 지급 방식 전반에 걸쳐 군민이 겪을 수 있는 혼선을 최소화하겠다는 방침이다. 

군 관계자는 “소비쿠폰이 일시적 지원에 그치지 않고 지역 상권에 실질적인 활력을 불어넣고, 군민의 생활 안정에도 도움을 줄 수 있도록 모든 행정 역량을 집중하겠다”고 밝혔다.

군은 이번 조치가 지역 소상공인의 매출 회복과 소비 진작에 긍정적인 기폭제가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다. 아울러 읍·면 현장 행정복지센터의 밀착 안내와 다채널 홍보를 통해 지원 대상 누락과 신청 지연 등의 사각지대를 철저히 차단한다는 계획이다.
