정국영 대전도시공사 사장이 2022년 12월 취임 이후 2년 7개월 만에 처음으로 공식 언론 브리핑에 나섰다. 

8일 대전시청 브리핑실에서 진행된 이번 발표는 산업단지 조성, 개발사업, 주거복지 등 도시공사의 주요 현안 전반을 다룬 자리였지만, 일각에서는 ‘뒤늦은 소통’이라는 비판과 함께 ‘성과 부각용’이라는 지적도 제기된다.

정 사장은 이날 브리핑에서 민선8기 핵심 과제인 산업단지 535만 평 조성 계획을 중심으로, 도시공사가 추진 중인 대형 프로젝트들의 진척 상황을 상세히 설명했다. 서구 평촌지구 산업단지는 연내 준공을 앞두고 있으며, 탑립·전민, 오동, 봉곡, 삼정 등 각 산업단지 조성 사업도 보상 착수 및 착공 일정이 구체화되고 있다고 강조했다.
