대전시사회서비스원이 지역 사회의 복합적인 위기 상황에 대응하기 위해 현장 중심의 연구를 본격화한다. 

이를 위해 대전시사회서비스원(원장 김인식)은 지난 3일 '2025년 참여형 현장 연구 지원사업' 착수보고회를 열고, 올해 선정된 연구팀들과 함께 연구 과제를 공유하고 향후 계획을 논의했다고 밝혔다.

이번 지원사업은 사회서비스 현장의 목소리를 담아 정책적 대안을 마련하고자 기획됐다. 올해는 2월 공모를 시작으로 전문위원들의 서류 및 발표 심사를 거쳐 총 3개 팀이 최종 선정됐다. 

선정된 팀들은 각 600만 원씩, 총 1800만 원의 지원을 받아 약 6개월 동안 심층 연구를 진행한다.

보고회에는 대전시청소년상담복지센터 ,대전스마일센터 ,대전청소년성문화센터 등 3개 기관이 참여해 각자의 연구 주제와 계획을 발표했다. 

이들 기관은 위기청소년, 사회적 고립 청년, 경계선 지능 아동·청소년 등 현재 사회적으로 주목받고 있는 사각지대에 집중한다.

김인식 원장은 "이번 사업은 단순한 연구가 아니라, 현장의 목소리를 바탕으로 위기청소년, 은둔·고립 청년, 경계선 지능 아동·청소년 문제를 해결하는 데 기여할 수 있다는 점에서 큰 의미가 있다"고 강조했다. 그는 이어 "연구 성과가 정책과 현장 실천에 유기적으로 반영되어 미래 세대에게 실질적인 도움이 되기를 기대한다"고 말했다.

대전시사회서비스원의 '참여형 현장 연구 지원사업'은 지난 2020년부터 꾸준히 이어져 오며 현장 실무자들이 직접 연구자로 참여하는 체계를 갖춰 왔다. 

특히 증거 기반의 실천적 연구를 통해 사회서비스 정책의 질을 높이고, 현장의 현실적인 해결책을 도출하는 데 중점을 두고 있다. 지난 5년 동안 총 24개 과제가 선정돼 연구를 수행했으며, 올해로 그 성과를 더욱 확장해 나가게 된다.

이번 연구가 완료되면, 대전시는 청년과 청소년의 복잡다변한 위기 상황에 보다 체계적으로 대응할 수 있는 기반을 마련할 것으로 기대된다. 

특히 각 연구 성과가 현장의 목소리를 담아 정책화될 경우, 사회적 약자 보호를 위한 지역 맞춤형 복지정책이 한층 탄력을 받을 전망이다.

In the last five years, a total of 24 tasks have been selected to conduct research, and this year, the results will be expanded further.
