대전 유성구가 21일 한국전력공사, 국민건강보험공단, 행복커넥트와 함께 사회적 고립과 단절이 심화되는 현 상황에서 고독사를 예방하고, 이를 위한 지원체계를 구축하기 위해 ‘AI안부든든서비스’ 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 

‘AI안부든든서비스’는 대상 가구의 전력, 통신 등 다양한 빅데이터와 AI 분석 시스템을 활용하여 위험 상황을 조기에 감지하는 시스템이다. 

위험이 감지되면 AI 상담사가 즉시 안부를 확인하고, 응답이 없을 경우 현장 요원이 출동하여 대상자의 안전을 확보하는 방식으로 운영된다.

협약에 따라 유성구는 서비스 대상 가구의 선정 및 사업 총괄을 맡고, 한국전력공사는 전력, 통신, 모바일 앱 데이터의 수집 및 제공을 담당한다. 

또한, 국민건강보험공단 대전유성지사는 사회적 고립 및 고독사 위험 가구를 발굴하며, SK행복나눔재단이 출연한 비영리법인 행복커넥트는 위험 상황 발생 시 관제 및 출동 서비스를 제공하게 된다.

정용래 유성구청장은 “이번 협약을 통해 사회적 고립 가구의 위기 상황에 보다 신속하고 효과적으로 대응할 수 있게 되었다”며, “지역사회와 협력하여 지원체계를 강화하고 고독사 없는 따뜻한 유성을 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.
