대전 중구가 ‘2024년 재난대응 안전한국훈련’ 평가에서 우수기관으로 선정되어 행정안전부 장관 표창을 받았다고 전했다. 

중구의 행안부장과 표창 수상은 대전시 5개 자치구 중 가장 높은 점수를 기록한 성과로, 중구의 재난 대응 역량이 크게 인정받은 결과로 보인다.

재난대응 안전한국훈련은 재난 발생 시 신속하고 효과적으로 대응할 수 있는 능력을 강화하고, 기관 간 협업 체계를 점검하기 위해 실시되는 범국가적 종합훈련이다. 

중구는 지난해 10월 24일, 중구청의 13개 협업 기능 관계부서와 중부경찰서, 서부소방서 등 유관기관, 그리고 주민 200여 명이 참여한 가운데 충남대학교병원 관절염ㆍ재활센터 지하에서 전기차 화재 상황을 가정한 실감나는 훈련을 진행했다.

특히, 중구청에서 진행된 토론훈련과 충남대학교병원에서 실시된 실제훈련을 통합하여 고난도 훈련을 실시한 점이 높이 평가되었다. 이러한 노력 덕분에 중구는 대전 자치구 중 최고 점수를 기록하며 장관 표창의 영예를 안았다.

김제선 중구청장은 “이번 수상은 적극적으로 훈련에 참여해주신 모든 유관기관과 주민 여러분 덕분”이라며, “앞으로도 반복적이고 체계적인 훈련을 통해 재난으로부터 안전한 중구를 만들어가겠다.”고 소감을 밝혔다. 

중구의 이번 성과는 지역 사회의 안전을 위한 지속적인 노력과 협업의 중요성을 다시 한번 일깨워주는 계기가 되었다.

Daejeon Jung-gu Receives Minister of Public Administration and Security Award for ‘2024 Disaster Response Safe Korea Training’

Daejeon Jung-gu announced that it was selected as an excellent organization in the ‘2024 Disaster Response Safe Korea Training’ evaluation and received a commendation from the Minister of Public Administration and Security.

Jung-gu’s Minister of Public Administration and Security Award is the highest score among the five autonomous districts of Daejeon, and it seems to be a result of Jung-gu’s disaster response capabilities being greatly recognized.

Disaster Response Safe Korea Training is a nationwide comprehensive training conducted to strengthen the ability to respond quickly and effectively in the event of a disaster and to check the collaboration system between organizations.

On October 24 last year, Jung-gu conducted a realistic training assuming an electric vehicle fire situation in the basement of the Arthritis and Rehabilitation Center of Chungnam National University Hospital with the participation of 13 collaboration function departments of Jung-gu Office, related organizations such as the Central Police Station and the Western Fire Station, and approximately 200 residents.

In particular, the high-difficulty training that integrated the discussion training conducted at Jung-gu Office and the actual training conducted at Chungnam National University Hospital was highly evaluated. Thanks to these efforts, Jung-gu recorded the highest score among the autonomous districts of Daejeon and was honored with the Minister’s Award.

Jung-gu Mayor Kim Je-seon said, “This award is thanks to all the related organizations and residents who actively participated in the training,” and added, “We will continue to make Jung-gu safe from disasters through repeated and systematic training.”
