대전시교육청은 3월 19일 대강당에서 관내 고등학교 및 특수학교의 교장과 교감 140여 명을 초청하여 ‘2025학년도 고등(특수)학교 교장 및 교감 협의회’를 개최했다고 전했다.

이번 협의회의 목적은 교육청의 각 부서가 추진하는 정책 방향을 이해하고, 학교 현장의 의견을 수렴하여 교육력을 향상시키기 위한 소통의 장을 마련하는 데 있다. 

협의회는 오전과 오후로 나뉘어 진행되었으며, 2025년 3월 1일자로 승진, 전직, 전보된 교장 및 교감의 소개로 시작되었다. 이어서 각 부서의 주요 업무 추진 계획이 안내되었고, 교육 현안에 대한 논의가 이어졌다.

특히, 변화하는 교육 정책에 대한 구체적인 안내가 제공되어 학교 경영에 실질적인 도움이 되었다. 

설동호 교육감은 “학교 현장에서 헌신적으로 교육활동을 지원하는 학교 관리자 여러분의 노고에 깊이 감사드린다”며, “학생들이 배우는 즐거움을 느끼고, 학부모가 자녀의 성장에 대한 신뢰를 가지며, 교직원들이 가르치는 보람을 느낄 수 있도록 모두가 함께 행복한 대전 교육을 만들어 나가겠다”고 강조했다.
