대전 유성구가 지역 특성을 반영한 지속 가능한 일자리 창출을 통해 누구나 안정적으로 일할 수 있는 도시를 실현하기 위한 노력을 강화하고 있다. 

유성구는 2025년 일자리 대책의 연차별 세부 계획을 수립하고, 이를 바탕으로 5대 과제와 15개 세부 전략을 추진한다고 19일 발표했다.

이번 5대 과제는 맞춤형 일자리 지원체계 구축 ,청년 중심의 일자리 생태계 조성 ,사회적 경제 활성화 ,직업 능력 개발을 통한 일자리 연계 ,취업 지원 인프라 서비스 강화 등으로 구성되어 있다. 

유성구는 이러한 과제를 기반으로 유성형 공공일자리 사업, 노인 및 장애인 일자리 사업, 대덕특구 여성 특화 창업 패키지, 찾아가는 일자리 발굴단 운영 등 총 22개의 중점 사업을 추진할 예정이다.

통계청의 2024년 4분기 고용 통계에 따르면, 유성구의 인구는 지난 5년간 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 특히 15세에서 64세 사이의 연령층이 전체 인구의 74.02%를 차지하고 있다. 

49세 이하 인구가 전체의 65%를 차지하는 등 젊은 세대가 주를 이루고 있지만, 전국적인 인구 고령화 추세에 따라 60세 이상의 인구도 증가하고 있어 이에 맞춘 일자리 창출이 필요하다.

유성구는 이러한 인구 구조 변화를 반영하여 맞춤형 일자리 정책을 점진적으로 확대하고 있으며, 다양한 계층이 경제 활동에 폭넓게 참여할 수 있도록 지원하고 있다. 

정용래 유성구청장은 “어려운 경제 상황 속에서도 지역 경제를 활성화하고 지속 가능한 일자리를 창출하는 것이 최우선 과제”라며, “다양한 계층을 위한 일자리 확대와 취업 지원을 통해 더욱 활력 있는 지역 경제를 만들어 나가겠다”고 강조했다.

앞서 유성구는 지난 17일 지역 일자리 창출 추진 협의회를 열어 2025년도 일자리 대책의 연차별 세부 계획을 확정했다.

Daejeon Yuseong-gu is strengthening its efforts to realize a city where anyone can work stably by creating sustainable jobs that reflect the characteristics of the region.

Yuseong-gu announced on the 19th that it will establish a detailed annual plan for the 2025 job policy and promote five major tasks and 15 detailed strategies based on this.
