특히, 논산시 각 읍·면·동의 새마을부녀회가 직접 신선한 식자재를 준비하고 밑반찬을 조리해 전달하는 방식으로 진행된다. 단순한 식사 제공을 넘어 어르신 가정을 직접 방문해 안부를 확인하고 정서적 교류를 나누면서 고독사 예방에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
