대전시립합창단이 초고령화 사회 속에서 문화예술 향유 기회를 확대하기 위해 마련한 ‘시니어 음악회’가 오는 3월 18일 오후 7시 30분, 대전예술의전당 앙상블 홀에서 열린다. 

이번 공연은 ‘My Way’라는 부제로, 1960~80년대 인기 있던 올드팝, 재즈, 그리고 가곡 등을 선보이며 관객들에게 향수와 감동을 선사할 예정이다.

공연은 부드러운 멜로디가 인상적인 'Beautiful Dreamer'로 시작된다. 이어서 국민 애창곡인 '가고파'와 '얼굴' 등 서정적인 곡들이 첫 무대를 장식할 예정이다.

두 번째 무대에서는 사랑의 설렘과 이별의 아픔을 담은 명곡들이 연주된다. 존 덴버의 'Perhaps Love', 루이 암스트롱의 'What a Wonderful World', 사르토리의 'Time to Say Goodbye'가 독창과 이중창으로 펼쳐져 깊은 감동을 전할 계획이다.
