세종시가 지역 상권 활성화와 소비 촉진을 위해 150억 원 규모의 소상공인 금융지원에 나선다. 

이를 위해 세종시는 13일 세종시청에서 하나은행 및 세종신용보증재단과 함께 ‘세종 지역사랑 특별보증Ⅱ’ 금융지원 업무협약을 체결했다.

이번 협약은 세종사랑운동의 일환으로, 지역사회와 금융기관이 협력하여 지역 경제를 활성화하고 소상공인의 경영 안정을 도모하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 

하나은행은 10억 원의 특별출연금을 조성하고, 이를 바탕으로 세종신용보증재단이 150억 원 규모의 특별보증을 지원할 예정이다. 또한, 시는 최대 2.0%의 대출 이자를 보전할 계획이다.

지원 대상은 세종시에 사업자 등록 후 영업 중인 소기업 및 소상공인으로, 특히 공실 상가에 입점한 기업, 여민전 가맹점, 세종시로 전입한 지 5년 이상 된 기업 등에게는 보증 한도 확대와 같은 우대 지원이 제공된다.

최민호 시장은 “하나은행의 지원에 감사드리며, 어려운 경제 상황 속에서 더욱 힘든 상황에 처한 소상공인들에게 실질적인 도움이 되도록 하겠다”고 밝혔다. 

지난해에도 세종시는 하나은행 및 세종신용보증재단과 협력하여 7억 원의 특별출연금을 조성하고, 공실 상가 입점 기업에 대한 우대 지원을 포함한 105억 원 규모의 특별보증을 시행한 바 있다.
