세종시의회 의회운영위원회가 13일 제97회 임시회 제3차 회의를 개최하고, 2025년도 행정사무감사 계획을 승인했다. 

이번 회의에서는 ‘2024 회계연도 결산검사위원 선임 협의의 건’과 ‘2025년도 행정사무감사 계획 협의의 건’ 등 총 3건의 안건이 심사되었으며, 이 중 1건은 보류되고 2건은 원안 가결됐다.

2025년도 행정사무감사는 제98회 정례회 기간 중 5월 29일부터 6월 11일까지 14일간 진행될 예정이다. 

의회운영위원회는 6월 9일에 감사를 실시하며, 행정복지위원회와 산업건설위원회는 5월 29일부터 6월 5일까지 8일간, 교육안전위원회는 5월 29일부터 6월 4일까지 7일간 각 소관 부서에 대한 감사를 진행할 계획이다.

위원들은 행정사무감사가 단순한 검토에 그쳐서는 안 되며, 진정성 있는 개선을 위한 기회로 삼아야 한다고 강조했다. 

김영현 위원장은 감사 과정에서 행정의 투명성과 공정성을 강조하며, “객관적인 기준을 바탕으로 행정 운영을 면밀히 점검하고, 감사 활동을 통해 불합리한 부분을 개선하여 시민들이 실질적으로 체감할 수 있는 변화를 이끌어내도록 관련 부서와 협력해 주길 바란다”고 말했다.

이번 회의에서 처리된 안건은 오는 3월 19일 열리는 제97회 임시회 제4차 본회의 의결을 거쳐 최종 확정될 예정이다.

Sejong City Council Steering Committee Approves 2025 Administrative Audit Plan

The Sejong City Council Steering Committee held the 3rd meeting of the 97th extraordinary session on the 13th and approved the 2025 Administrative Audit Plan.

A total of three agenda items were reviewed at this meeting, including ‘Appointment of the 2024 Fiscal Year Settlement Inspection Committee’ and ‘Appointment of the 2025 Administrative Audit Plan’, of which one was put on hold and two were passed as originally proposed.

The 2025 Administrative Audit is scheduled to be conducted for 14 days from May 29 to June 11 during the 98th regular session.

The Parliamentary Steering Committee will conduct an audit on June 9, while the Administrative Welfare Committee and the Industry and Construction Committee will conduct an audit of each department for eight days from May 29 to June 5, and the Education and Safety Committee will conduct an audit of each department for seven days from May 29 to June 4.

The committee members emphasized that administrative audits should not be limited to simple reviews, but should be used as an opportunity for genuine improvement.

Chairman Kim Young-hyun emphasized administrative transparency and fairness during the audit process, saying, “I hope that you will closely inspect administrative operations based on objective standards and cooperate with relevant departments to improve unreasonable aspects through audit activities and bring about changes that citizens can actually feel.”

The agenda items processed at this meeting will be finalized after a vote at the 4th plenary session of the 97th extraordinary session to be held on March 19.
