태안군가족센터(센터장 박지연 가족정책과장)가 관내 다문화 아동의 적응력 향상을 위해 무료 학습 지원 프로그램을 운영한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 프로그램은 2025년 기초학습지원 사업의 일환으로, 취학 전·후 다문화 가정 자녀를 대상으로 기초 한글(읽기, 쓰기) 및 수학(숫자 세기, 연산) 학습 지원을 제공한다.

이 사업은 다문화 자녀들이 학습에 대한 두려움을 줄이고, 학교에서의 적응력을 높이기 위해 설계되었다. 프로그램의 대상은 5세에서 9세(2016~2020년생) 아동이며, 그룹 수업 형태로 진행되며 최소 3명 이상이 참여해야 한다. 

교육은 태안군가족센터 꿈자람배움터 및 유관기관에서 이루어진다.

교육은 매주 2회, 각 3040분씩 진행되며, 센터의 관계자가 강사로 나선다. 교육 내용은 기초 한글 및 수학(5세 대상), 예비 초등 한글 및 수학(6세 대상), 초등 한글 및 수학(초등 13학년 대상) 등으로 구성되어 있다. 이러한 프로그램은 교육환경이 취약한 다문화 가정 자녀들에게 평등한 학습권을 보장할 것으로 기대된다.

참여를 원하는 다문화 가정은 태안군가족센터 홈페이지에서 회원가입 후 온라인으로 신청할 수 있으며, 연중 신청이 가능하다. 신청 관련 자세한 사항은 태안군가족센터로 문의하면 된다.

태안군가족센터 관계자는 “이번 프로그램을 통해 다문화 아동의 학습에 대한 자신감을 높이고, 다양한 소통의 기회를 제공할 수 있을 것”이라며, “다문화 자녀가 적시에 학습 서비스를 지원받을 수 있도록 많은 관심을 부탁드린다”고 전했다. 이를 통해 태안군의 다문화 아동들이 보다 나은 학습 환경에서 성장할 수 있기를 기대한다.
