태안군이 지역 농가의 어려움 해소를 위해 ‘기본형 공익직접지불금(이하 공익직불금)’ 신청·접수에 나섰다. 군은 농촌 고령화, 일손 부족, 쌀값 하락 등으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 농업인들의 생활 안정을 위해 2월부터 비대면 신청을 시작, 4월 30일까지 신청을 받는다.

공익직불금은 농업인이 농업활동을 통해 식품안전, 환경보전, 농촌공동체 유지 등 공익을 창출할 수 있도록 지원하는 보조금으로, 농지 소유 여부에 관계없이 실제 농사를 짓는 사람에게 지급된다.

신청은 소농직불금과 면적직불금으로 구분된다. 소농직불금은 농지 면적이 0.5ha 이하, 농지 소유 면적이 1.55ha 미만, 영농 종사 기간이 3년 이상, 농촌 거주 기간이 3년 이상, 농외 소득이 2천만 원 미만, 구성원 농외 소득 합산이 4500만 원 미만인 경우 신청 가능하다. 이 경우 농가당 지급단가는 130만 원이다.
